Bichette would miss a big chunk of the season
Giles would miss most of the season
Romano would miss a big chunk
Pearson would be out
Shoemaker would be out
Anderson would miss a big chunk
Hernandez and Tellez would miss chinks of the season...
and they will make the playoffs,
no one would have believed you

Appealing my suspension

What can you say, Ryu delivered what the team needed out of him. Pretty gutsy effort to get into the playoffs for the Jays as it wasn't easy for them. But I am pretty impressed with how they bounced back from getting run up pretty hard by the Yankees last week. Coming back to take 3 of 4 in this series shows that these young guys have some resolve.

I was thinking the Jays would be fortunate to walk away with a split. Taking 3 of 4 was really surprising.
Ryu pitched like an ace today.
It’s been fun watching this team develop the last couple years. There has got to be some value in having so many of these players grow through the system together, playing together in Dunedin, New Hampshire and Buffalo. You can tell they are a team that roots for each other.
