I don’t think it was anything that happened in the clubhouse. They needed to make room for the players they got at the deadline and he was the odd man out. Had he been on a hot streak they would have picked someone else.

I think its possible that Tellez was involved in trade talks for pitching help. My guess would be texas or pittsburgh for starting pitching. Didnt happen so they had to drop their insurance policy.
