Damn. That was deadly! This is the best I've seen Tampa play since the earlier rounds.

Should look better when you are on the PP for the whole period.

Benn butt ends Palat in the face, draws a penalty.

Wow. Pretty obvious game management for the Stars. Behind 3-0 and four straight penalties on the Bolts. Must get game closer. Fricking Perry headlocks Paquette and comes out clean. Sure do hate NHL refereeing.
EDIT: Hughson said Perry was on the ice during the PP. He was in the penalty box. My bad but Perry is still a first class prick.

I mean, he did get a penalty. I'm not sure how the refs expect Paquette not to fight back a little after that clown had him in the head lock though.
Even the original penalty was pretty soft. I didn't think main Maroon ran Khudobin. Sure, he bumped him, so if Tampa scored there, no goal obviously, but penalty?? The way Dallas sells everything, I'm surprised Khudobin didn't do a back flip into the net.

Janmark is finally on the board for Dallas. They're playing Next Man Up hockey now.

That was one of the quickest Coach's Challenges I've ever seen. It was pretty obvious, but they seem to always take their time anyway.

Just seems like it's always someone new coming through for them with big goals. They lost someone to injury against Vegas, ah well, Kiviranta came in and scored a hat trick. They lose a guy like Comeau to injury, ah well, time for some other guy to score his first goal. Next game they're gonna bring someone else in to replace Comeau and that guy's probably gonna do something, too.

Dallas has to get a hundred more pp's like they did against the Flames. Hilarious! 12 minutes into the third and zero penalties.

It totally sounds like a cartridge I'd buy for the Genesis.

Being from Northwestern Ontario we identified with the North Stars (more than TML) so the city was still fans of Modano and Co when they won it all in '99... with Nieuwendyk, Hull, Langenbrunner, Lehtinen, Zubov, Hatcher.
Much like the Stars of today they had all the vets too... Verbeek, Keane, Reid, Skrudland, Carbonneau, Ludwig, Belfour.

The more I watch these playoffs the more I see the asterisk addeded . Not sharp playing at all . Looks like finally just got out out preseason form. Yikes. Ugly I.M.O this year.

^^^ definitely asterisk IMO as well. These playoffs are boring. Never before would I cycle between a Stanley cup finals game and a rerun of Seinfeld. The latter got more attention last night.

Sorry, this may be obvious and I am missing something, but what was it about the North Stars that you all identified with? I’m legitimately curious and think it’s cool. I am very into their uniforms and history. One of my favourite sports logos for sure!
