Looks like there is alot of interest from new managers, so just a quick note for those who haven't played before.
This league works great if you pay attention, and adjust your lineups at least twice a week. It isn't just a draft and see what happens pool.
So make sure you have some time to make an effort. The last 2 seasons we maybe had 1 or 2 teams that lost interest both years, which is actually pretty good. But any more than that it just isn't any fun.

Thanks, when someone gets the chance, if there is a rules sheet, let me know. IE cap? pick up rules / restrictions etc.

As soon as Pagal4321 starts up the league, you'll be able to see all the rules and stat categories. No cap or anything like that though.

That will be determined by the commissioner.
But usually you'll have every IF position, 3 OF posititions, a util which can be anything, then 3-5 bench spots. As well as 1 or 2 DL spots for your injured players. 3-5 Starting pitchers, 3 relievers, then 3-5 bench spots for pitchers.

Just a thought about entry into this pool.
What about a small entry fee, whereby 75% is paid out and 25% goes to CP?
Pagel was cautiously supportive of this idea (Is that a correct catagorization) ... dependant on everyone elses feedback.

I would be OK with that but for the fact I dont use any sort of e-wallet and I live in TO...so I dont know how that would work out...

If someone can think of an easy way to do it. Seems a little complicated to organize..but I guess its do-able.

If it's a money pool, I'm out fellas... even if it's $5. I'm still a student when it comes to the baseball pools... so it doesn't make sense for me to pay to play, when it's a free pool.
Sorry guys, but if it's for cash, I'm out... let me know what the plan is and I'll make a decision on my spot at that time. Thanks.

Yeah I am in favor of keeping it free. I am out as well if it goes to a cash pool.

Last year we had pretty active involvement in the league, I don't think we need a small prize to make it more interesting. I say let's keep it free, but I will be in either way.

Is the league full or is the 18th spot still open? I am guessing that it is full but just in case I am inquiring.
