Sportsnet radio is using the Flyers feed and Caroline Cameron is the sideline/intermission reporter.
The Flyers look like they have run out of energy, just like the Canucks. The penalty killing by the Flyers is also wearing them down. Good to see Greiss is in net for the Islanders. Strong forecheck by the Islanders too.

Sadness.
Congrats to the Islanders. They took their play to another level. Constant forecheck pressure while also generating a lot of transition chances. If they play the way they've been playing, they will give Tampa fits.
Flyers never got to their next gear, but their future is promising, with the core coming back and a lot of young players ready to make the jump. They'll be back for the next few years. More offense coming, and the defensemen will mature.

Someone replied to that saying "Konecny, Myers and a 2020 first for Gaudreau and a 2020 second".
I'd prefer Couturier, but I still think I do that deal if I'm Treliving. Not sure if Philly offers that though.

This is the Islanders first trip to the Conference Final since 1993.
That was the last time a Canadian-based franchise won the Stanley Cup.
It was the first season for Tampa Bay in the NHL and it was the final season that the Stars played in Minnesota.
It was Gary Bettman's first season as the NHL's Commissioner.
It's been a while.
