Hah I just finished the game. I was so pissed off. Thought the game was over. Paused it for the last possession. Got a loser game beer. Thought to myself why even bother watching the last possession? They can't pull it out. Then pressed play OG hit the shot. I wasn't even excited. Just a big question mark on my face. Like...What? Really?
Anyways that night the New Claw was born. OG and this team are going to tear things up now. Just you watch.

I’m a bit late to the Steve Nash party but it seems like a questionable hire for them. Great player, but he’s never actually coached in the NBA before. Seemed like a networking hire by reputation. I’m interested to see how it’ll all work out.

Me and you can prob coach the Nets team to the Finals next year....
and also. Gasol sucks. Wish he wasn't on the court in key times.

I know they call Matt Thomas "Matty Ice", but I think they need to change his nickname, because this is the coldest mother####er I have ever seen.

ICE. COLD.

In the four years he has advanced in the playoffs, Mike Budenholzer is 8-10 in conference semifinals games and 2-8 in conference finals games (in fairness, he got swept at each level by LeBron's Cavs). Is it possible he gets canned after this season and the Bucks just ask Giannis who he wants as his coach in an effort to extend his contract in the offseason?

I heard the TSN Overdrive guys talking about Giannis either yesterday or today and there are rumours that he is leaving. Apparently the top choices might be Miami and Toronto. They weren't sure if he would go this off season or next though.
I happened to drive by Steph Curry downtown Toronto this evening, and realized for the first time that GS is out of the playoffs. Crazy to think last years team lost some guys and dropped off. Also pretty interesting that Curry isn't up there as MVP material right now - moreso because many of the young guys are killing it, but partially because most MVPs would be able to carry their team to a certain extent.

Curry broke his hand and missed 80% of the season

Yup. Had he been healthy, GS would probably have been one of the teams in the bubble.

He is walking into a team with arguably the best player in the NBA in KD (if healthy) and having Kyrie doesnt hurt either. Pretty sweet first coaching gig if you ask me.
Oh it’s definitely a good gig. Kyrie will always be a head case though so I wonder if Nash will be able to handle his mood swings. Most importantly is the strategy aspect. Nash was a great PG, I don’t think that’s arguable at all. Does he have the coaching versatility and toolbox? We’ll see.
Raptors have been going for nothing but 3s in the 2nd quarter, and they aren't making any of them.
I haven't watched much basketball over the last 15 years or so but the game has changed quite a bit away from attacking the rim to perimeter and 3 point shooting. I feel like the game is a lot more boring now.
