If you are going to misrepresent how people present their opinions be prepared to prove it.
I do know the narrative you preach up and down is consistency in management, even in the face of evidence that Tre is a medicore GM who has produced mediocre results for his entire tenure, on the back of such questionable decision-making as Guluztan, McDonald, and many others besides who were controversial moves even at the time they were made.

If your assertion is that I need to dig up ancient history on each of these moves to show what you and others were saying at the time, you're out to lunch, and frankly we both know you're being disingenuous.

I don't think that you can trade for a Hughes or Pettersson, teams don't trade away number one centers or defensemen. Goaltenders are always difficult to project and a hot few games means nothing for long term potential... Just look at Andrew Hammond

The more I watch them, the less I like Vegas.

They're good, but there's something Duckish about them. And Lehner's not nearly as entertaining as Fleury..

I'm okay with the Canuvks going through, if that happens. Someone will take them out eventually, but until then they're fun enough to watch.

I definitely didn't expect either the Avs or the Canucks to make it back from being down 3-1, but I'm certainly glad they both have.

There has been really great hockey on display in the playoffs this year. Whoever makes it through to the third round, I hope it lives up to the second round standards.

Probably a pretty good idea if you're the Senators, honestly.
There's some thought Eriksson is gonna walk away

He's already mostly paid up, only 4m in salary left for next 2 years and 1m signing bonus next July 1

With escrow taking potentially a ton of the salary, he could play in Europe and not have a massive difference in pay

Here's a post where I outline his good moves and bad moves.

"My arguments would be
- Strong RFA performance
- Generally a positive trader, with a small number, but notable exceptions.
- Draft performance has been strong in my view.

Arguments against are
- Poor UFA performance and management of cap as a result
- Perhaps guilty of trying to accelerate the re-build, resulting in premature shedding of picks
- Poor coach selection.

Which is why he's #3 on my list (behind Fletch and Coates)"

There are others you can find too.
Yes I have stated that i believe consistency at the top in key management positions and lack of consistency is a hallmark of badly run organizations.

But that's a valid opinion to have. And we can agree or disagree or whether BT is a good GM. I think he is. You think he isn't. That's not a problem. Both are valid views to have.

What is a problem is when people over-simplify and miss-represent the positions of others. State your opinion and back it up. We can have a discussion. Don't make up what other people feel or minimize it down to some so bare bones that it doesn't resemble their points. That makes for awful debate and discussion.

When I state my views I try to outline them with thought and detail.

So no I'm not being disingenuous.

If you want to go through my posting history go ahead. But this isn't about being right or wrong. Those keeping "score" for that can do so to their heart's content. I've been wrong as much as right. But if you want to find posts where I blindly state things without thought or perspective I think you will find that challenging. You may disagree with them. But they aren't without thought.

It's wildly known that Burke pretty much ran the 2014 draft and he confirmed that again. If you want to ignore that - that's on you.

Thomas Drance has been writing an article every few days of stuff heard from players during the games, guess the media guys can hear really well with an empty arena

Said vegas is the most arrogant team he's heard in the bubble

I was trying to figure out where the guy came from because I couldn't remember anything about him in junior other than a vague recollection of a WJHC. Turns out it's because he was in college. This stat line from his last season is completely absurd.

They looked arrogant in the game tonight. They dominated possession, but didn't really look like they felt they should have to fight tooth and nail for a win.
