The 2020 Canucks are about to take the Knights to a Game 7.
The 2017 Oilers took the Ducks to a Game 7.

The 2015 Flames? Took the Ducks to a Game 5. 4-1. Gentleman's sweep.

Pains that even at their best, the Flames' 2015 success pales to the recent successes of the Canucks and the Oilers.

Can the Flames even be lucky, playoff-wise, for once and more down the road?!

Vegas 1 more loss away from blowing back to back 3-1 series leads in the playoffs

Last year was that epic collapse vs SJ

His good moves have been just okay. That's entirely besides the point.

He was the GM at the 2014 draft. We have no idea how much input he had into the decisions made to override scouting. Maybe McDonald and Hunter were Burke guys. Maybe they were Tre putting his stamp on the team. I don't know, and neither do you. But we do know his bad moves have been goaltending and coaching, consistently. Putting asterisks next to the 2014 decisions changes nothing about that narrative.

Nowhere near a Canuck fan but it's kinda fun watching Vegas get goalie'd.

At least that's one way to earn a rep.

As painful as those countless Flames first round exists are, they're nothing to what might happen to Vegas - choked away 3-1 leads in back-to-back years.

LOL.

You mean St Louis right? Or was it San Jose? Last year seems like 3 years ago ago at this point.

Christ, I didn't think this was going to even get to 6 from the outset. Amazing what having two or three game breaking players and goalies that stand on their head can do, I guess.

You are the one that said that he gets credit for all the good moves and his bad moves are blamed on someone else
I am saying I have outlined what I think he’s done well and not well
If you are going to misrepresent how people present their opinions be prepared to prove it.

The Flames have to figure out a way to trade for guys like Hughes, petterson and Demko.

How often do guys like the first two get traded? Stone and Thornton are the only two examples that leap to mind for me at all.

The three stats I am interested to know:

1. Most saves by a rookie in a playoff game;
2. Most saves in a regulation playoff shutout; and
3. Most saves by a rookie in a shutout (playoffs or regular season).

Blackmail or kidnapping would be the most successful route

I suspect just about anyone can have Demko if they re-sign Markstrom... just have to be willing to take on Eriksson's contract.

Probably a pretty good idea if you're the Senators, honestly.

I'm going to guess who hold the record.
