What do the Caps, Pens, Preds, Sharks, Knights and Bruins all have in common? They have been in the playoffs annually for years. So no surprise they are all at the bottom of the list.
Then we have the Oilers... lol

Pronman loooooooves Emilio Pettersen, I imagine that's part of it too.
My bet is his top 10 will look like this:
Pettersen
Wolf
Pelletier
Nikolayev
Zavgorodniy
Ruzicka
Gawdin
Phillips
Zagidulin
Yelesin
I'm pretty sure he considers Valimaki to have already graduated.
There was a time where Pronman was very bullish on Sveningsson and Koumontzis, but after their disappointing seasons I imagine that's no longer the case. He was very low on Yelesin last year but I think he'll have gained some of Pronman's attention. He liked Lerby ok last year but I'm not sure if he showed great enough improvement this year to get into his Top 10. I'm also not entirely sure how he'll see Zagidulin but I don't think he really hurt his stock too badly in his first year.
For reference, this was Pronman's Top 15 last year. Not going to share his tiers for each guy or anything else because it's behind a paywall. This isn't the full list either.
Pettersen
Pelletier
Nikolayev
Wolf
Sveningsson
Ruzicka
Koumontzis
Zavgorodniy
Gawdin
Zagidulin
Phillips
Lerby
Nodler
Roman
Pospisil

Considering the Flames have not drafted in the second round from 17-19 and did not draft in the first round in 18 and are trending toward a mid pack prospect pool is a testament to the improved drafting over the last few years.

Makes sense why the Flames are high. Here is his criteria.
“Welcome to The Athletic’s look at the top young players in hockey and our 2020 ranking of the NHL organizations’ young talent.
This year’s organizational ranking will be different than previous years. First, it is occurring before the NHL Draft and not after, although I will make an updated version following the draft.
Second, this year’s version will have full evaluations with tool grades of all players in an organization who are 22 years old or younger as of Sept. 15, 2020, regardless of how many NHL games they’ve played, to go along with the rest of the players in the pipeline.
It will not include skaters older than 22 as of Sept. 15, 2020, who have played 25 NHL games in a season or 50 career games; goalies with 10 games in a season or 25 in a career; nor any player age 26 or older as of Sept. 15, 2020.
Thus, all players from the 2016 to 2019 NHL drafts who were first-year eligible at their draft are incorporated into this year’s organizational rankings”

So Tkachuk, Dube, and Valimaki get added back to the list.
But every team will have additions under that rule change

Oh well that makes a lot of sense. So you can add Tkachuk, Dube, and Valimaki to the above list.
Pretty encouraging indication that the Flames are still a very young team. Tkachuk, Dube, and Valimaki could be the team's top winger, centre, and dman of the future.

That criterion only applies to guys who are 23+

I wonder how the remaining Canadian teams rank? I gotta think Vancouver is going to be the highest ranked? Ottawa will pass them post draft but right now
Pettersson+Hughes is going to rank them higher than Tkachuk+Dube+Valimaki, Matthews and whatever Toronto has, Laine and the Jets pool, Tkachuk and the Sens pool, and Kotkaniemi and the Habs pool

Yikes... I dont for a second think Stutzle falls that low.
I still think L.A takes him with #2

I think LA's decision has a lot to do with what they think of Alex Turcotte. If they like him, they might see Stutzle as a better fit going forward.

Raymond has maintained a very solid rating all year in spite of being fairly mediocre/ struggling in the mens league. I am surprised to see him pretty consistently locked into the top 5 in ratings. Is there something there with him that I am not seeing?

The talk surrounding Zary's skating is honestly way overblown. If he's available at your pick, but you choose someone else because they skate better, then you might just miss the boat big time. His skating just isn't that bad, folks.

Connor Zary is projecting better than Dylan Cozens did in their Draft -1 and Draft 0 years.
That's how good and deep this draft is.
If Zary is available at 19 (and he should be because of just how deep this draft is), you don't over think it - you grab him.
Failing Zary's availability you turn towards which of Quinn or Jarvis dropped, and beyond that directly to Bourque, Amirov, Mercer, or lastly towards Holloway or Foerester - but you do not overthink Zary at 19, not for a moment.
