As far as background listening goes, I like Krystal and Saagar. I think the bernie bros stuff is trying to engage a younger audience, and the "Risers" nonsense is just marketing - making people like they are part of a club creates loyalty. I can ignore most of that stuff to get to their commentary, which is often pretty good.

Can you see how "Sit Down, Shut up, and Vote for Who we Tell you" isn't exactly the most appealing get-out-the-vote message?

Yeah, I can see that, but guess what? That's the way the system works. Learn how to work within the system, or change the system. Can you see how "I'm going top hold my breath until I turn blue because my guy didn't EARN the nomination, and as a result I'm not going to show up and vote" isn't going to garner much support or sympathy either?

Suck it up. My guy didn't get the nomination either. That is politics, and that is life. Recognize the challenge the nation is facing and vote for the best chance of defeating a fascist. Otherwise, yeah, sit down and shut the hell up. You didn't help defeat this menace when you had the chance. You don't deserve a seat at the table nor opportunity to piss and moan about the outcome. There's nothing more aggravating than listening to someone whine about the outcome of the election then having them disclose they didn't vote.

I mean, fascism vs corporatism is a pretty easy choice, but there are people for whom life under Obama was more or less identical to life under Trump (eg. complete garbage) and don't see the point. Especially since Biden has historically fallen on the wrong side of a lot of progressive voting, and doesn't appear repentant for it.

The pearl-clutching Liberals who only pay lip service to progressive values when election time rolls around trying to make them feel bad doesn't help a whole lot either.

Instead of scolding people into voting for the chosen candidate that doesn't necessarily represent their interests, wouldn't it make more sense to extend an olive branch and try to entice them into your tent with a more inclusive platform?

Poll of service members has Trump underwater compared to Biden. On the question of who will you vote for Biden received 43%, Trump 37% and the rest were third party or not voting at all.

If what I read elsewhere was correct in 2016 Trump had a 33 point edge (Romney had a 40 point edge). That is a massive swing amongst service members. I can see the next set of anti-Trump ads....

They aren't interested in working within the system or changing the system.

They are throwing their support behind left wing authoritarian ideologies. The Democrats insistence on constantly describing Trump as an illegitimate president accelerated this process.

Those people look a lot like fascists to me.

I guess Russia Today would know a fascist when they see one.

Regardless of the source, this actually happened.

Any thoughts on the mob of angry BLM activists demanding random people eating in restaurants raise their fist in solidarity with the movement?

Well why didn't those people just comply?
Really how hard is it to listen to instructions?
If they had just done what the cops, I mean protesters, told them to, they wouldn't have been shot...I mean, they could have enjoyed their meal in peace.

Wait, which is it? I was repeatedly told by far left activists that speech was violence. But now it appears that silence is also violence? Should we all just be shouting incoherently so that we're neither silent nor speaking in the traditional sense of the word? That seems to be the ticket.

Can you please tell us what you think Fascism is? I'd really like to hear what you think it means. If you're going to say these people look like Fascists to you, then you clearly know what it means right? And I really don't think you know what it means.

So here's your chance to prove me wrong, or educate me.

Are you the least self aware person in this thread?

I think so. And that's a hard thing to do.
