Series over right there.
You could see the Canucks just deflate after the Pacioretty goal. They were pressing, had a bunch of chances, and the first one that goes the other way bounces off a skate perfectly into their net... that's a killer. And they're dead now.

The Knights' forecheck is insane. Nucks are having all kinds of trouble trying to contain them.

My guess is we see the Western finalists both decided before Wednesday.

Can Markstrom actually skate? I wonder at times.
I've seen him slipping a lot, but his skating seems....less than proficient.

It’s actually hilarious that the team with the most depth doesn’t have to lose a player to the expansion draft. NHL and their backwards ####ing rules

It really is remarkable how many excellent players and picks the Knights got from the expansion draft.
Like really?
Great scouting!

so? they would have bailed on the franchise otherwise? league bent over when they didn't have to. Its also one of if not the most desirable market in the NHL. Many of their best players now arent even expansion draft guys

The only players in the lineup from the actual draft are Merrill, McNabb, Marchessault, Fleury, Carrier and Schmidt. So 3 of their 6 D, a top 6 forward a fourth line winger, and their backup goalie. Which is fine, but most of the damage was actually done through trades.

Not sure the goalie batting the puck out should be delay of game.

They probably wouldnt have paid nearly as much to establish a franchise in Vegas that was going to suck for a decade.
I hate to say it, but love it or hate it, it was an astute move to give a new franchise an instant fan-base.
