If you're going to boycott the game then do it. Saying it's on the table and then not doing it may not come across as intended.
After all, it's actions that count, not what you're thinking about doing.

Now got a score mobile alert that a couple guys on the Raps are considering going home according to Nurse. I guess it’s showing they’re passionate about the cause, but again, how does that action lead to some defined goal? I’m a bit lost on what they’re trying to take a bite out of here.

Going home and not being seen at all doesn't seem like it would be very productive
White kid just shot multiple people last night and strolled down the street with a automatic rifle as the cops drove on by...this is gonna blow up

Bucks are boycotting today's game. Orlando is leaving the court now too. If Orlando stayed would the Bucks forfeit?
Sounds like the Raptors and Celtics are boycotting their game also.

I don't get this move. The players are hurting the NBA, which has done everything to support this cause and has tremendous momentum right now.

It’s not hard to get, the players are saying it in simple terms. Players are concerned that their voices are not being heard anymore, and this is the next step to keeping the BLM conversation going.

But their voices are being heard. Black Lives Matter is in big bold letters on the court. They have messaging on their jerseys. Is that not being heard?

Listen to what VanVleet and Powell were saying in their interview. They are saying it was a good start, but nothing is changing and now that conversation is being lost. They are stepping up and doing something bigger now.

NBA team owners have some of the deepest pockets in America

They want to owners to put pressure on government to make changes.

What do they expect to change immediately? I think there's plenty of conversation going on. I think this is a poor strategy. I think they can make change by continuing to play, getting the message across on the court, on their jerseys, in the on-game interviews, in post-game interviews. Now, they have lost at least 10 hours of that tonight and more in the future.

I think they're caught now. I understand peaceful protesting but really hurting the NBA, the hands that feeds you, who has supported you every step of the way. And for how long now? If they come back next week it'll seem pointless. If they leave the bubble, the season is over.

What changes? How? Take Mark Cuban for example. He's been shouting from the mountain top for years. I also don't think this is an issue solved by money.

They expect the conversation to keep going. It’s working too, you and I are talking about BLM when we wouldn’t have been otherwise.

I imagine the NBA will continue to be supportive of its players, and there won’t be any long term pain to the game. Plus they are saying they are willing to sacrifice money and careers to stand up for this.

Kinda feel for Adam Silver, he's been arguably the best commissioner in sports, but he's dealing with a monumental issue that is beyond his control.
