Really wish Reaves signed in Calgary. Love players like him with that confidence and swagger.

Men against boys out there. Do the Canucks even have a quality shot on net? Say what you will about Vegas but I wish the Flames played this way. Just all out skate with and without the puck. Just awesome to watch.

Damn, that is hilarious! How great would that be to hear without the pumped in crowd noise.

This Ryan Reaves?

Not only am I glad he's not in Calgary, I wish he wasn't playing hockey at all. Guy has no reason to be in the league except to hurt people. He's Tom Wilson without the talent (and if someone wants to get Tom Wilson out of the league, I'm fine with that too).

It wouldn't be terrible to have players that other teams are scared of at all times

Vegas is showing zero respect to the Canucks. Just walking all over them.

I came into this feeling I could support the Canucks, but the game Vegas plays is just so easy to cheer for. They are very entertaining.

Yeah Reaves is about two weight classes above anybody on the Canucks. Some call it swagger, I’d call it arrogance and no class. The guys who know they are the toughest don’t have to yap. Think Chris Simon or Mcgratts yapped like that? I assume he is targeting roussell, who is at least two weight classes below him. Flip side- it is fun seeing the Canucks dominated (as a bitter flames fan).

Personal grudges aside this will be a fun series. Lots of talent here. Will be interesting to see how Hughes responds to this onslaught. Can’t help thinking of how guys started playing Gaudreau hard once he was on the radar and how it affected his game.

Ten minutes? For that? I wonder what he said?

Wonder what warranted that 10 minute misconduct

Not sure why Green wouldn't give Markstrom the rest of the night off. I suppose he wants to give his team the message that they can still win this game but I think it would be best to get Demko some playing time in the even Markstrom misses any time in the coming games and avoid what happened to the Flames with Rittich going in cold.

This may border on conspiracy theory territory (or just establishing rapport) but I see established guys like Getzlaf, Benn and Reaves chatting up with the officials and yukking it up. Then they get away with all kinds of things. I recall a flames game where Getzlaf skated up to a scrum and just flattened a flame (small guy, maybe Derek Ryan) who wasn’t even looking. Right in front of refs- no call. The Benn’s spear etc. My point is Reaves gets away with a lot. That looked like a back and forth to me. Though, who knows what Roussell said.

That #1 seed was pretty massive for Vegas...Chicago/Vancouver to get to the west finals

Round robin games seemed like exhibition games but they were pretty damn important

Getzlaf is the worst. He's always in the officials ear and I do think that the Ducks benefited from it. I suppose it's good on them for being able to get on the good side of the officials and work it in their favour.

Not sure why Debrusk was having such a tough time coming to grips with the misconduct as it's obviously something Roussel said that he wouldn't be privy to remotely.
