What a grab Miller was. Great scouting from their pro staff.

Congrats to Markstrom for his shutout too?

If you say so, Brady didn’t move the needle much in Ottawa this season.

Van drafted 5th and 9th or whatever for those guys, they weren't buried under 50 feet of crap like OTT was.

C'mon this game isn't over. Teams come back with seven straight goals every night, right?

Just watching the Canucks game.

Hypothetical scenario that would probably never happen.

Which Canuck forwards would Benning NOT trade even up for Johnny, our best or second best forward?

Ugh.... Congrats to the nucks. For all the jokes about the canucks rebuild, aside from some crappy deals on depth guys, they have a young core made up of 2 elite centers, an elite winger, an elite d, and an elite goaltender.

If we look at a 3 year horizon, is it safe to say the flames are the worst team in the Pacific when it comes to having a high skill core (ignoring Seattle)?

If he wasn’t injured during the regular season, I’m sure he would have been a Vezina finalist.

It's frustrating. It feels like these teams can find true #1 centers with ease, at least compared to the Flames who haven't found one for near 30 years and counting.

ANA

LA has 2 players, and Kopitar s getting old

EDM has 2 players

SJ has depth but heir best players aren't any better

This Flames bashing that is going on right now is getting pretty ridiculous

thanks

we have more tier 2 prospects otw too.

on defence we're looking forward for Rathbone, Rafferty and yes.. Juolevi.

on the wings we have Hoglander and Podkolzin.

i don't think we'll go all the way to the cup this year but hopefully in the near future.

Wow - the Canucks twitter account put out "Later Binnington"

That is some kind of classless - I hope they eat that cockiness

They wouldn't trade their captain, and Pettersson and Miller are obviously out. You might get Boeser for him if you were willing to retain a bit of salary but I doubt there's a match there.

LA has some excellent prospects already in the pool, and are adding another one this draft.

Edmontons 2 are both at the center position, and have some decent prospects , particularly at d.

I forgot sj, you got me there.

The flames top c, their most skilled player, and their #1 d are being called out as players this team needs to move on from to somehow improve. It's definitely a sad and bash-worthy time to be s flames fan (yet again, I might add)....

Pettersson, Horvat, Miller, Boeser. I think you can start talking about anyone else 1 for 1 but those four you're probably adding some (Miller), a lot (Horvat and Boeser) or just can't get (Pettersson)

now you're talking prospects - way to move the goalposts

I get it, you're angry with the Flames

I guess that’s a big reason why the Canucks are still playing and the Flames are not.
