Strange that they're announcing Tkachuk is out this early.

The previous games it's been revealed when the team takes warmup, which hasn't happened yet.

I'm naively hoping they're playing mind games and Tkachuk is going to play as a surprise. That'd be nice...

I’m sure we’ll see some Gaudreau - Monahan - Robinson at some point. Add some size to the line and try and spark some “fun” for Johnny.

yeah, I could see putting Robinson there to throw some weight around

but putting Reider on Monahan's line just does Dallas a favour

I mentioned before, but I missed most of Robinson's time here as I was in Cuba those games.

But pulling highlights from those games afterwards I liked how Robinson played. Definitely not suited for top line duty, but he seems like a decent 4th liner. He's huge and plays with a tonne of speed at least.

The 4th line has been awful. Not sure we're looking at the answer here but in any case, that's not where the game will be won.

We essentially have one NHLer on that line right now.
