How do you run out of beer? In a pandemic no less.
I see the last beer from 2 weeks away, minimum.

See, I was going to pick up beer today, but snobbishly not from the neighbourhood liquor store; rather more pretentiously from my local brew master, since I have a couple empty crowlers that need refilling.
The day got away from me.

I'm hoping that since it's been almost 24 hours since the last game, the ice won't be complete dog doodoo.

Good, he will not be missed, his Hamonic debacle and free agent signings have set us back 2-3 years. I hope we clean house after tonight and become a competent club again.

No Tkachuk again tonight, per Leslie

I know they didn't win but the line shuffle clearly benefited both lines. Wouldn't want to see Rieder on the first line but it would be cool to do a better job patching Backlunds line and perhaps Bennett move up like C. Campbell suggested since Ryan can easily slot with Lucic and Dube.
Olesiack caught Lucic on the first shift last time and he wasn't as aggressive after that. Hope he's recovered well and ready to dish it out a bit more. They've said that when Dallas sees Lucic and Bennett on the ice they play the puck more quickly and close even in their own end instead of holding it longer looking for the quick breakout pass. Even more reason to put Bennett up front. If Lucic can play well, Bennett will give Dallas two lines to be heads up about.

Pretty sure Yogi Berra actually said "working to confirm."

I figured, considering he hasn't even skated since leaving the game. Do it for chucky.

No Tkachuk. I think they need to NOT trust that Monahan and Gaudreau will be effective at even strength. The best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour. In that light, they should move Lindholm alongside Backlund and Mangiapane. That’ll give them their best chance of a second strong line (the other being Bennett’s line).
Mangiapane - Backlund - Lindholm
Lucic - Bennett - Dube
Gaudreau - Monahan - Ryan
Quine - Jankowski - Reider
That’s what I want to see. Very little chance, I know.
