Please no parade to the penalty box all game. Last game was stupid for that. Please god none of that today. Please 1st line show up and actually score 5 on 5. That statline is getting really tiresome to see. Everyone is making fun of us for it. Please score. And please Gio I know you're getting older, but could really use some Gio magic this game.

I watched Game 4 on the CBC Sports app, and they cut to some art programming halfway through OT. I knew the moment they cut to the other stuff the Flames will get scored on...
I hope it will be a different outcome today!

I had to head out to Port Hood today.
Naturally, I stopped by the rink for a photo. Hopefully it brings some Conn Smythe level luck today!

Is this the right thread to point out the way this team uses Johnny Gaudreau is entirely backwards?
He’s too small to have the puck as much as he does. He can’t protect it with his body, and he won’t stick anyone in the teeth to give himself some extra space.
Johnny should be playing with two guys who can hold onto the puck themselves. Put him with Backlund and Tkachuk (health permitting obviously) and let Johnny disappear - he’s small enough to be able to find dead spots on the ice, and skilled enough to fire quick shots or redirect passes to better areas.
Furthermore, when he doesn’t have the puck, they can’t hit him. I like our chances with the other team have to chase Johnny all over the ice as opposed to swarming him like wolves to a fawn.
Stop having the 5 foot 8 guy who doesn’t believe in never letting them see you bleed skate through five regular sized NHLers.
This isn’t basketball.

Nothing against Scorpion's posts. Quality posts are applauded regardless of when they're posted, but it's just ridiculous when he's pouting about never having to start another thread because he can't be the GDT thread starter

So what? Maybe he has had a tough time during these times and is looking for some support? You have no idea what anyone could be going through so why start drama?
