Oh I don't know. IMO it's mostly Heiskanen.

Listening to that on the radio was just sad.
Hardly mentioned flames players aside from Talbot

No, because that only happened when they had the lead, and it wasn't for 80% of the game. The issue isn't Dallas being miles better than them, the issue is sitting on a lead and allowing the momentum to go against you, and stay that way if it ends up being tied. It's hard to get back on the offense at that point. I thought they actually did a good job of tilting things back to even, and even past, in OT. They definitely had some good chances to end it.
I said Flames in 7 before the series and I still think that's right. Talbot > Khudobin.

Clearly the players really like him and he probably does a good job at getting at the chemistry between the players. However, I am always baffled by how oblivious he is when it comes to in-game management.

Why don’t the equipment guys get everyone a new stick to start OT. Twice in one period is some kinda bad luck.

Voted for Kodos

Flames had the best 4? Chances of OT.
The Flames were playing At least even with the Stars Until they had the lead in the 3rd period.
Needed to pressure a bit more instead of letting the shooting gallery late, but other than that, we were the better team.

Yup, easy to forget now but Calgary probably takes a 3-1 series lead had his stick not broken.
I also agree that Mony didn't play well today. I've not been impressed with him this whole series really.

The Flames are literally worse by every single metric this year versus last year. They are simply relying on special teams and praying Talbot plays god-like every game to even stand a chance.
Pathetic.

Thank you. Now these homers can stop denying it.

We were one broken Reider stick away from being up 3-1 and only lost due to another bad luck broken stick. These “series over” “Flames not even in it” “bunch of losers” “Colorado all over again” posts are straight up embarrassing.

Sometimes I really think they rather Flames lose so they can come and say " I told you so"

Meh, this playoffs have been easy to watch. The sooner they lose, the sooner we can move away from the core of the team. Every win is just gravy for the hopeless 'anything can happen' kid in me.

A lack of discipline cost the team. You can't win games when there is a parade of guys going to the sin bin. Gotta play smarter hockey from now on.

The Stars went out and got some players who can perform in big games. Perry and Pavelski.
Then there are a bunch of Flames fans on here that wouldn't want a guy like Perry because he is an agitator. Nice players don't win you games.
Another thing, during the Winnipeg series.. we heard about Schiefle being out every 30 seconds during the game. No one talks about the Flames top player missing at all though?
