Well, see, the real call was 2 minutes for game management. Even SN can't find footage of the penalty.

I hate referees. Remember a couple of years ago when they all decided to protect sticks. You hit a stick, you get a penalty. Hit from behind - AOK. Bust a stick. Two minutes.

Such a serious issue. Should have been one call - on Benn. Rest were stupid.

It was an okay period. Lindholms call was a phantom call.

Still think there's a couple of extra gears the Flames can get to. Their PP entry into the zone is horrible. They really need to change that up. Bump backs and double bump backs just fall flat.

Since moving to Vancouver I’ve made a lot of friends from outside Canada. I try to get them into hockey. But when I, someone who’s been a part of this game since birth, can’t explain most penalty calls, it’s pretty freaking tough.

Instead of going into the 2nd tied, Dallas gets a completely made up call, gets a lucky bounce, and gets momentum.

If I'm the Flames, I'm using that bull#### as incentive to come out blazing in the 2nd. Dallas might feel a little good about themselves, and could come out a little slow.



Seriously, I know there's lots of time left, but these teams aren't going to score a lot , so every goal is important. Refs owe the Flames big time.

These phantom calls....Mangi got raped out there 2 times and nothing and it wasnt him falling on his own.

Dallas forecheck really seems to be fading. If they are icing the puck early in the 2nd we have to pounce all over them because they are trying to sit on a 1 goal lead. Gotta score fast to open the 2nd.

Lindholm winds up for a big crosscheck, but actually kind of glances off the Star, as if to fake him out. It was a nothing play but looked violent I guess from the back official's angle.

Not the smartest thing to do by Lindholm, even if the call was soft.
