I think he's dead wrong though. I heard his take on how "lit up" Johnny was on that powerplay last night (on 960 this morning) and my first thought was "That's just total BS, I watched that powerplay and thought Johnny looked slow and indecisive." So I mean, we took very different stuff out of the same data I guess.

They are playing back to back games, tied the series 1-1, up 1-0 going into the 3rd and they are literally on their last leg. That’s what’s wrong. Plus they are in Edmonton.

Hoping for another shortie in the third. This is some painful hockey to watch.

Klingberg says they have a good scouting report on Talbot and they "know his weaknesses". Surprising shots fired.

If the Flames were losing 1 - 0 and dominating it would be the complaints not being able to best weaker teams .If they are up 1-0 and dominating it would be they can't finish teams. If they were down 1 and playing like this it would be anarchy.

Enjoy the good goaltending and decent defensive zone coverage. All wins aren't going to be a masterpiece.

There are so many here that wish the Flames were losing right now and that's sad.

Monahan is battling tonight. I don't think you can play well with Gaudreau on your wing. I'm utterly shocked at how he won't go near a Dallas player. It's insane. The way he's playing he doesn't need shoulder pads. Might as well ditch them and see if he is faster.

He hasn't lost the room, we just don't have a top line. The top line doesn't outwork opponents, must be pretty deflating to the rest of the team watching their work ethic, especially Gaudreau.

If only the other teams didn’t pay people to watch/evaluate other team’s players.

It’s a darn shame.

Exactly this. We are up one going into the 3rd, not down. Enjoy and relax guys. Go flames go

Yeah they do look tired.

Looks like they are skating in mud and When you see as many mental mistakes as they had that period means you aren’t sharp mentally.

The Flames were outplayed in that period by a very good hockey club. I doubt that any of the players went snowflake on the coach.

I'm enjoying being able to watch hockey this year, but they really look awful right now.

I can't agree with the defensive zone coverage being decent. They look lost and uninspired all over. Talbot is keeping them in this game 100%.

At least there is hockey to watch, could be worse.

Most teams are probably looking at Sean and Johnny and noticing that they just aren't very good players.

To be fair, the Sabres don't need to worry about players performing poorly in the playoffs.
