Man, I know a lot of people harp on the top line, but they are just terrible right now. Even on the power play, where you'd think they could build some momentum, there's just nothing there. It doesn't even matter if they beat Dallas (whose top players are also garbage tonight), if they don't get that going they're toast in the next round anyway.

That should be a delay of game penalty. If you're on the ropes, why not just two hand the glass so you get a time out.

Comeau actually broke the glass by smashing it with his stick.
Call a delay of game penalty! That'd be wild.

I'm a bit surprised that doesn't warrant a delay of game penalty.

Shouldn’t breaking the glass on purpose be some kind of penalty or at least a misconduct?

Well at least Talbot is having a good rebound game! Hopefully the boys can come out with some energy in the third. Poor 40 minutes but luckily we have a 1-0 lead. Play the last 20 hard and win puck battles and we win the game.

We don't put any pressure on Dallas in the neutral zone. They hit our blue line with speed and either take he puck to the net or dump it and get there before or at the same time as the dman.
Our dman has no time to do anything and a scramble ensues.

Is it impossible to adjust how we play in the neutral zone? They sure don't have an issue slowing us down. Can we get Ward a coaching for dummies book?

I think they should play out the second, then restart for the 3rd. A 20:38 third period is stupid.
Secondly, why doesn't Comeau get a delay of game peanlty over this?

We have the lead but that was a hard period to watch as a Flames fan. There aren't many positives to draw from their play so far.

I think the Flames' gameplan here is to play the Homer Simpson boxing strategy. Let the opponent whale on you repeatedly, never fight back, and wait until they tire themselves out.

That's a blatant unsportsmanlike penalty. And now Dallas gets a huge advantage getting a full 2 minute PP on fresh ice.
Just terrible officiating. That's a no brainer call.

Flames seem weak. Can't really use tired as an excuse cause both teams played last night. They either aren't as in good condition as the Stars or they just don't want it as much.
Stars get away with so much it's ridiculous.

The fact they’re getting a 2 min straight pp after intentionally breaking the glass is so dumb.
 Should be 4 on 4

Cogliano did this to us all the time on the Ducks. The guy is a master. I hate him.
