Surprised to see Talbot back in, but only the coaches have seen how they've been performing in practice.

Ward may also be rewarding Quine and/or Rinaldo for playing hard in practice. Rieder bump to the second line is earned as well with his PK prowess.

As for Khudobin, he doesn't play the puck as much as Bishop so hopefully we capitalize more on the forecheck.

And who knows how injury is playing into any of this, guys are banged up and you just won't hear about it. Rittich may not be 100%, Janko may not, Bishop may not be ... we are left in the dark.

While I love the guy, other than pissing guys off / getting in their heads, this playoffs Chucky hasn't been a huge contributor to goal production. The only real gains have been from some penalties drawn. So I really hope he comes back, but there are a lot of other guys with room go step up to full potential the rest of the playoffs.

While I don't think that Janko necessarily deserves to be out - he hasn't been bad at all - but he also has been relatively quiet. Will be interesting to see what Quine can do tonight. Rinaldo in makes sense to me - it was a fairly nasty game yesterday, and having someone else more than willing to lay the body is welcome.

So far my only gripe is the pushing back of start times due to overtime in previous games.

There’s only 15 minutes between ice times in men’s league and minor hockey. Why do they need so much time between games here?

I definitely doubted this team after the jets game 2 no show. Not feeling optimistic with 3 of our top forwards basically no-shows so far thru 2 games, and now to lose tkachuk.. Pretty brutal... Let's see.

I'm getting pretty annoyed with monahan, and to a lesser extent, Lindholm. Let's hope monahan has learned how to put on his helmet on, and musters a shot on net tonight.

Hope they have a game 3 like the qualifier round...
