Yeah Bennington needs to make that save. Hopefully they start Allen next game.

Well this settles the Monahan vs Horvat debate.

Monahan had a breakaway once against the Kings in his second season too ya know.

Lovely OT goal. I don't like the Canucks but they are finding ways to win.

Hate the Canucks, but they have built a solid team with good drafting and trades..

Basically a 9:00 start time for the Flames game.

Ya, hard for him to get one when Johnny is always trying to leave the zone early to get a stretch pass.

As much as it pains me to say it, the Canucks are likely gonna move on to round 2. At this point I don't see the Blues being able to win 4 straight against these guys.

In all honesty, I think his last breakaway was actually this season, the coach (Peters? Ward?) had juggled the lines and Jankowski was on Monahan's wing. Janko fed Monahan and Monahan got a great chance. Can't remember if he scored. All I remember is that I thought Janko looked a lot better on the wing.

Very surprised the Canucks have beat them twice. Binnington hasn't looked his normal self. The blues look mortal.
I have to say- I will always hate the canucks based on history. But I can't think of a player I really hate on the current canucks, maybe roussell. Thinking back to the days of Bieksa, Kesler, Lapierre, Burrows, Kassian and Sestito where my top five hated players were all on on team.
Hughes is a treat to watch. Based on his size I was wondering how he'd do in a playoff series. The blues are getting their licks in (especially Perron), but he seems to be weathering the storm.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not cheering for them. I just don't have the level of hate I had in the kesler/bieksa days right now. Whomever the flames match up better against is who I want to win.
Though, if the other series continue their trends, IF the flames were to beat the stars we likely have a date with the Avs or the knights next.

Looks like the Canucks have already passed the Flames in their rebuild, having star players actually play like star players when it matters being the key of course

Man, it's getting hard to keep the excitement in check. I am still expecting them to lose this series, but to win a game where the ice was so blatantly tilted one way by the referees is making it hard to keep my expectations in reality.

You forgot your hate for Burrows.

I just wanted to say I agree that I thought the reffing was absolutely terrible this game. A couple hits from behind with no calls and the one hit that should've been a St. Louis penalty somehow Vancouver got a double minor on.
