I never understood how someone could be right at golf, yet left at hockey and baseball...all three are so similar, that it seems natural that you'll always be the same 'handed' for those.

Ditto on both accounts.

When you begin to golf dont you just borrow clubs?
And almost everyone's clubs are right-handed
Me: right handed in everything

Right-handed in everything...except guitar. I strum with my left. I think it's because I hold everything (pool cue, guitar, baseball bat) like I would a hockey stick. I'm much more comfortable using my left hand to dribble in basketball than I was a few years ago. When I played soccer, I had to play on the right side because i couldnt accept a pass with my left foot.

Hockey (I dont play but when we were younger, my brother would pretend to be the goalie and try to get me to shoot pucks at him, and I remember shooting left. Haha)

I'm right handed for pretty much everything, writing, eating, shooting, throwing
Is it weird that I can only play by wearing the goalie glove on my left hand, but in baseball, I'm much better wearing a catching glove on the right hand?

No...but my dad always told me he thought he should have pushed me to shoot right hand in hockey...as years later he thought he made a mistake....oh well.

Write: Left...but not bad with right
Throw: Right..but not bad with left
Kick: Left
Punch: Left
Golf, Bat, play hockey: Right
Left handers are the only people in their right mind.

Mostly left handed, but do most sporting activities (I throw left or right) and handle rifles right handed. I handle hand guns both ways, but mostly left handed. Overall, I'm fairly ambidextrous, which comes in really handy for doing stuff like swinging a hammer. When one hand gets tired I just use the other hand and keep going. Writing and drawing are about the only things I can only do left handed.

This may be a dumb question, but what makes it right vs left handed? For example, in everything I do, my right hand is the one that's further away from my body when my arms are extended. Baseball, pool, hockey, golf, rackets. To me, that's just normal, seems like everyone should be that way, but I'm told I'm shooting pool left handed...? What's the difference?

Thats a good point, everyone who i've ever seen play pool has their Dominant hand closer to their body...which in most cases in the right hand...which I guess would be called 'shooting right'...but using that same logic, having the right hand closer to the body with a hockey stick is called shooting left. Same with baseball. In basketball, the guiding hand...on the side of the ball when you shoot, is often the left hand, and the power hand is the right hand...But i would guess that's shooting right.
This is an issue that is at the core of human existance...

So I'm right at everything except pool.... seems to me that maybe the pool people have it backwards.

Politically I'm right, because I'm left.
I am ambidextrous.
Shoot left in hockey, bat/catch right in baseball, swing right in golf, left in snowboarding.

I write left but shoot right in hockey, bat right in baseball, and golf right-handed. I catch with my right hand and throw with my left and politically I am a leftie.
