He should have been putting pucks on the net and looking for others to get the rebounds. His shot is weak at best and he always hesitates before he shoots. Especially on the PP

It is one game, this wasn’t going to be a complete sweep and remember even the Stanley cup champs played 7 games against these guys last year. The one thing I take away from this is if Calgary plays there game they will be ok. I expect a bounce back game tomorrow as I believe we will see a grumpy Calgary team.

Gio is a poor playoff performer as well, which does surprise me

They gave a damn, they could have lost 6-2 and we'd all feel better.

Take Gaudreau off the top line.

Given how bad Gio, Monahan and Jonny were, the rest of the team is really playing well! Imagine if the first line actually shows up for few games...

I fear our supporting cast are going to use up all their goals and we are going to be in real trouble. Johnny has been horrible as has Giordano. In fact the only times I've noticed Gio in the playoffs has been when he's taking dumb penalties.

I'd demote Johnny and move Gio/Brodie to second pairing. Those two are doing more harm than good.

Johnny is spineless. Wake up man. Go take a hit or two. Go into the corners. Do something.

Did anyone tell him they don't have to social distance in the bubble?

Well, tkachuk talked about taking momentum back in game 3 in the jets series being the difference between last year's playoff...
Too bad he likely isn't playing in this game 3.
I hated every second of the flames play after tying it up.
Curious what happens tomorrow.
The legend of top line players monahan and gaudreau continue. 1 ES goal all post season. Gaudreau needs to be viewed as a pp specialist, nothing more, nothing less.
Who's in net tomorrow night?

The day Tre realizes he needs to let go of John and Sean will be a step closer to being a true contender.

To be fair, the only guy in the correct position in those photos is our Dman covering the guy out front. Literally everyone else is in no mans land.
And I only see 3 Dallas players! What the hell guys?

Gwg is on Dube. Way to soft on the puck there. Needed to chip it deep so they could change. Put the players on the ice in a bad position.

I wonder if father time is catching up on him. He seemed to be a step behind the play all night.
