Since the restart? I thought Lindholm was great against the Jets. The Fan960 guys named him as one of the best players for the Flames against Winnipeg as well.

He does most of the heavy lifting when that line doesn't have the puck. He made a couple great plays late to steal possession and to make sure the Flames got the puck in deep. I think Lindy is the perfect forward as he can play at any situation and you can rely on him when we need to hold a lead, or when we need to tie the game.

He gets a pass as he's been utilized more on the PK

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I've been thinking about that with the defence for sure. The way Andersson is stepping up during the most important time of the year has been fascinating.

Also - Mangiapane, Dube and Andersson are a direct result of the Flames prioritizing "compete level" at the draft in my eyes. They've talked about it around the draft, and I think we're seeing the results of it. It makes me excited for Pelletier - if he plays with this type of compete level, it's huge.

Don't tell David Staples, but apparently you can win a game when the bounces don't go your way.

Very impressive defensive effort by the Flames. They didn’t give the Stars much. Barely noticed Seguin and Radulov. Outside of a couple strange goals, the Flames controlled this game comfortably. Think the Stars have another gear physically, so the Flames have to be prepared for a tougher Stars team Thursday.

Also, Dube. Spectacular. That’s it.

Nice to see the defense not giving the stars a 5 yard bubble like they did with Colorado last year.

Going into the playoffs with momentum >>> coasting into the playoffs

Gio, Johnny and IMO Backs played bad. Backlund not so much as he had his moments but still those are 3 leaders on the team. Bad Games. The team still won. If the team can keep playing well and even one of those 3 hits their stride and plays well, this team will be a lot better.

Good win!

Gotta be ready for the next game though as Dallas imo had a better second and third period.

They're doing some on the Flames Post-Game show on the Facebook feed. Stajan and Brendan Parker hosting. They've interviewed Forbort and talking to Lindholm now.

Where he has been by far the team's least effective PKer, giving up twice as many chances/minute as any of the Flames' other guys
