ya, but Dallas doesn't have enough solid lines to contain all 3 of our top lines. So the top line will see less of their top line if or 2nd and 3rd keep on producing. They will have to make a change which will open up options for JG and SM.

Is this a bad time to tell Dallas fans that Dillon Dube was selected by Calgary with the Stars second round pick (56th) in 2016. That pick went to the Flames as part of the package to acquire pending UFA Kris Russell.

I couldn't get over how often we recovered the puck in the offensive zone.

You just knew the Flames were going up 2-0 at some point.

Let's hope they keep the momentum after the intermission.

What a fantastic period. Flames physicality is an issue for the stars, particularly on d. There were mistakes made due to the forecheck.

Star's defensive positioning, and laid back approach cost them both goals. Flames forward was able to sprint right thru the neutral zone at full speed and stars d flat footed for both rushes.

I'm sure the stars will adjust, flames need to just keep their foot on the gas as far as the forecheck is concerned.
