Among goalies who played 15+ games, Khudobin had the highest 5v5 save percentage (.947. Rask was second at .941 in the NHL this season and the highest GSAA/60 (0.84. Rask was second at 0.64).
He also led the NHL in both categories overall.
The Flames are in tough.

Hmm NHL TV blacked out for me because the game is on NBCSN, but NBCSN has the lightning game with them tied and likely going to OT....

Same situation here. I thought the Canadian broadcast would have been available on Center Ice like it was during the qualifiers but no such luck. Stuck watching the lightning game.

Yeah and that CBC link of course is blacked out for us in the States.. I really don't want to have to use a sketchy link here.. Get back to the flames

Yeah, for my money the Stars' combo is the best in the league up there with Vegas'. Khudobin is a drop from Bishop for sure, but Khudobin is still equivalent to most teams' starter.
Regardless, a notable positive for the Flames there.

Those top 4 games looked like practices. I wouldn't take anything from those at all. The highest ranked team in the West, St. Louis, lost all of their games. I'm fairly certain teams were also throwing games to pick their ideal matchups. Khodobin also only played in 2 games.
Talbot's performance was far more impressive IMO.

It was no slight to Khudobin- just Bishop has historically had our number. Confidence is everything to Goalies, especially in playoffs, and I don't think Bishop would have lacked any facing us.
I think it's worthy of excitement.

Those stats are from the regular season in which Khudobin played 30 games
