Why has Askarov dropped so much in the ranking??? I've seen him go as low as 22. He was a top 10 prospect before, what happened??

You could sometimes see which ball was at the bottom of the cone where the ball gets sucked up. I swear the guy was watching the balls when he pressed the button. Conspiracy theory? Of course, I am just waiting for an Oiler fan to note this!
This is the trifecta - 1. Oilers lose, 2. Flames win on Oilers home ice and get to use their dressing room (someone should lay a dump on the oiler logo in the middle of the room but I digress) and 3. Oilers do not get the pick.

A big FU to all Oilers fans, they missed the playoff and missed the first overall pick. They won't know who to draft now.

Good. No Oilers or Leafs or Jets. Sells the game a bit in the Big Apple. They haven't had a 1OA in the modern era, and while they had the number 2 last year through some luck, it's really not that unusual to get a high draft pick two years running (teams don't improve that much in one year because of a high pick - see Pittsburgh/Chicago).
