Starting Talbot is looking like a genius move right now.
Also, I hope the jets coaches not shaking hands is just a covid/logistics thing. Maurice can be a clown but I’d be surprised if he orchestrated some kind of handshake boycott.

Man, Lucic was a beast tonight and a great asset the whole series. Wonder if he was channeling some of those Boston playoffs vibes from years back? Regardless, more of that please!

I know its not a "real" playoff series...but it sure feels like it. Fifth series win since the cup win in 89. This is a big night for the franchise and its fans. I'm giddy.

I believe the Flames coaches joined the fist bump player with the Jets players, which is why this was brought up in the first place.

Such a good night. I had a gut feeling the flames would take the foot of the gas and lose tonight, win it in game 5. I am so happy to be wrong. Jesus Lucic,
Benny and Dube were unreal. Credit to the jets- Poolman was a warrior. Didn’t get points but Wheeler is awesome. Losing Schiefele and Laine was crippling. Imagine the flames losing gaudreau and Lindholm. Anyways, so happy tonight.

I don't understand the Scheifele report........it was barely touched but 'crushing'? Cut I could see, I don't get the crushing comment.

edit: Unless he meant crushing to the team, that makes sense.

As a long suffering fan (as are many of you) it really is hard to capture how awesome it is to win a series for only the second time in 16 years. 16 GD years. And amidst the unrelenting ****storm that is 2020. Not only to win, but to dominate. I love a player that elevates in important games and that is Sam Bennett for sure. I think Rasmus Andersson is going to win a Norris at some point. Even Johnny, for all his difficulties tonight, at least he was skating his *** off gaining the zone multiple times and had some decent back checking plays. I kept bracing for them to get lazy sitting on a two goal lead after the post-Hartley years, but they didn't. Maybe, just maybe the psychology in the room has changed and they have genuinely become stronger and more resilient mentally? I feel like I did after we beat Vancouver in '04 to a point I don't really care what happens next because we have exorcised some important demons.

I hope I have saved enough Thanks for gaskal...

Monahan with 6 points in 4 games. Not bad

Maybe the quietest team-leading 1.5 PPG series ever.

Lucic's PPG series was also sneaky af.

A shame that Johnny scaredy-puck doesn’t really show up tonight, he was the only passenger outside of Ryan and janko imo.

But that’s ok, if everyone else is stepping up then this team can make some magic happen.

Best thing about maybe playing Vegas is that we don’t have to play them in Vegas.
What the absolute f@&k!!! Johnny has been back checking like an mf’er this series and single handedly broke up several would be very dangerous scoring chances. 1 that would have been a 1 on 0 tonight. Give credit where credit is due. Terrible take.

I took it to mean that they originally thought Scheifele's Achilles was cut by Tkachuk's skate, but instead it was "crushed" in the collision.
