Respect to the Jets. They fought hard. They were dealt a bad hand. I look forward to many difficult battles in the future!

This is quite simply the best thing I've ever read.

Guess what, I was wrong wrong wrong and some more wrong about Lucic. He's a force out there.

Wow was I ever struck by 4 and 29 that game.

Rasmus showing up big in an elimination game, playing with poise of a veteran. Feels like it could be the beginning of a star turn for him. That pairing with Hanifin was excellent.

Dube solidifies himself as a bonafide NHLer. He has changed so much from beginning of the prior season where I was scared for his safety whenever he was on the ice.

I am just very thankful to have some more Flames hockey to watch, with the stakes getting increasingly higher.

Hopefully, they fire their low-rent, ######bag head coach.

Maurice will be shaking the hands of Chevelldayoff when he gets canned.

Do it over Skype, and leave him in Edmonton.

Wait....

This means the Flames are the first team to win a series on Rogers Place ice...I like the sound of that.

Sounds like something you would put a banner up for...

A lot of Flames looked really strong against a depleted Jets team. However, they closed it out and looked like a complete team doing it. Maybe the Game 2 wake up call will become a blessing in disguise?

Also keep in mind they had a two goal lead for two periods tonight and the entire third period on Tuesday and gave up NOTHING. I’m not used to seeing the Flames successfully locking it down like they’ve been doing, but it’s something they’ll need to do if they want to go on a run here. LET THE REAL PLAYOFFS BEGIN!!!

I was impressed with Forbort this series, especially his penalty killing. I thought he was the Flames best player defensively.

Lots of praise for Lucic from Ward. For good reason.
