So the Oilers gave up on this guy and decided to give Kosk a raise?

This is truly just a better team steadily beating a worse one. Which is interesting because that hasn't necessarily been the case in these playoffs so far.

We need some shifts in their end for a while. Too passive. Let's pick it up boys.

He'll be this team's #1 for a long time if he keeps playing like this.

A little too quiet for a guy that has as much skill and flair as he does.
Look at what Ehlers has managed to do in this series. Johnny should be capable of similar if he were engaged.

This might be the worst game he's played.

Watching that cross crease pass, Gio, for all the complaining about him slow, did a big part to break that up to so Connor couldn’t get it higher.
Backlund the one caught asleep on the draw as Wheeler walked right around him.

Not a huge Hanafin fan, but one of his more solid performances as a flame for sure

Anderson might give him a run for his money on that.
Or Valimaki for that matter.

This period is an excellent example of score effects which is still disregarded by some people for some reason. Flames sitting on the lead I don’t like, however. Johnny and Mony defending in this third period like advancing is a sure thing.
