Holy that was the best period of hockey I have seen Bennett play is a long time. Playing very effective physical hockey where he was basically a heat seeking missile going towards the net the whole time. Fun to watch.

AC and I were talking about playoff Bennett vs. Regular season Bennett. We were both saying that a big part of it has to do with how things get called as the playoffs go. He takes "dumb" penalties during the regular season. They also tend to be the types of penalties that don't get called in the playoffs and cause some positive energy and momentum as well. I think he kind of plays the same all year but the regular season doesn't allow for him to play his game. When he tones it down is when he disappears. Also linemates that click really help.
