I also think he’s thanking him for the fight. I’d imagine he asked for it to us pure his team....it’s not a fight Looch would seek out IMO. I’d think a knowledgeable PBP team would know and acknowledge that.

Much as things have sucked for Winnipeg, beating up an injured Jets team could provide the individual players with the confidence they need to go into the playoffs with a running start.

Can't overstate the value of feeling good about yourself.
