I don't get the obsession with 1 player around the league.
You know what I want to see more of? Focus on the other talented players around the league that we don't get to hear enough about.
Miro Heiskanen, Dominik Kubalik, Matthew Barzal, Mika Zibanejad, Sebastian Aho, Jakub Vrana, Travis Konecny, etc.
The media collectively acts like McDavid deserves to win a Cup simply because he's incredibly talented and fast, completely ignoring the fact that he still doesn't play defense and his leadership amounts to saying "let's go" after an embarrassing loss.

The funny thing is is that McDavid has never led a team to a championship. Didn’t in junior. I guess he was on a world junior team that won a gold. He is a talented and fast player. A great leader? Don’t think so!!
