Trying to buy some now but it keeps crashing.

Is Calgary doing anything similar? That is some crazy charity money too! May as well ride that wave.

I almost think the Flames and Oilers foundations should combine for these. Flames Foundation is really missing out cuz people are mainly supporting this one

Thats ok. It's going to be like 22 draws to 4 for the Flames by the end of it.

After the site kept crashing for the 3.2MM jackpot for game 2, I bought 15 minutes into the fray this morning.

It was already at $650k at that point.

Oilers are just good at lotteries I guess.

Eskimos are routinley 4-5 times higher than the Stamps too.

It's the desperation to win so they can leave Edmonton that drives it.

Man, these are crazy. I am really tempted to drop 50 bucks but I feel that won't increase the odds much over 20 bucks haha

Got mine as well...

WFH has allowed me to collect a bit of extra cash so why the hell not...

I feel a little dirty supporting the Oilers but its not the team...just the community foundation.

But...half the pot would go a looooonnnggg ways towards making me feel better.

Flames 50/50 is the exact same, identical website, and available provincewide... but has been about 5% of the Oilers pot.

Call me crazy, but i'd much rather have a better shot of winning the smaller amount with the Flames draw than a terrible shot at winning the large amount with the Oilers draw

Hm, my calculator says it increases your odds by 2.5 times.

Tickets can be purchased by individuals 18 years or older located within Alberta's provincial borders.

You could easily get around the location check it does for the purpose of purchasing the tickets but I'd imagine actually getting the payout would be difficult.

No problem, I’ll buy for you and if you win I’ll only take 10% for my service.

Definitely feels like it is going to hit 10 million plus. I do feel like they are probably some really desperate folks dropping way too much on this. I'll never forget when I was living in Kansas and saw a guy that looked like he was on hist last legs drop 2,000 bucks on the first lottery to hit close to a billion.

Government of Alberta should just start doing a 50/50 to pay off all the debt.

Hmmm so assuming this hits $10mil bucks, which it should, the odds are going to be like winning the Lotto Max at that point. lol

No one does lotteries as well as the Edmonton Oilers.

By my quick math, assuming a $10M pot and everyone buying tickets at the $20 rate, that means odds of 1:500k for a $5M prize. Lotto Max is still about 1:30 million.
