Brodie played a quiet but excellent game tonight. Kudos to him and the team. Looking forward to Thursday.

I think you’re underestimating us as the dirtiest team in the league. Colorado might have Mackinnon and Rantanen, but just wait until they’re both injured in game one with torn ACL’s. Or if we play Vegas, when Stone gets speared in the face, and they find Pacioretty dead in the locker room.

They think calling the Flames dirty is insulting or concering. Screw that after yeas of being a soft team, I'm liking the reputation of having a team with supposedly a bunch of Raiders coming to burn down your village.
The irony of this post pretty remarkable , considering the epic meltdown after losses on this board.

What do you expect to see on an opposing fans message board after a loss? Reasoned debate and polite discussion? Get real and get over yourself. Pathetic is too polite a word to use here but I'll be charitable.

Most of the ATL is not after a loss. It’s in game comments.

If 100 posters make a comment after a win, very few get replies since they're all similar.

If 100 posters make a comment after a loss, there's countless back and forths discussing and arguing the points brought up, what went wrong, which players need to be better etc.

It's really not unexpected to have fewer posts after a win and I guarantee you it's the same on every message board ever for every sports team or any topic whatsoever.

Be wary lest you reawaken the wrath of the fearsome Kneeordano, here to claim the patellas and souls of your most prized possessions.

I could be wrong, but I don't recall seeing a lot of posters here wishing injuries on players of other teams in game threads, even when the Flames are getting blown out.

We try to keep that sort of disgusting rhetoric out of here, and your "charity" is unnecessary.

Well I sure didn’t think quoting someone’s prediction would turn into this much of a hostile reaction. Jeeze if I make a goofy prediction go ahead and laugh at it.

I'm sure the guy who thought someone not capitalizing "jets" was being "passive-aggressive" is an excellent judge of what is and isn't pathetic.

Did Burke praise the Clifford hit? I ask honestly as I don't know but it was dirty and more dangerous than what Bennett did there.

I think I watch completely different games than what oiliers and jets fans watch.
