This type of stuff is why some players do not want to play in Canadian markets

Happens everywhere and in all sports. All fans have different opinions, that is why players shouldn't let what fans say on message boards get to them.

Win or lose, this is the team's big opportunity to show what they've learned about responding to adversity. No better time to put their money where their mouth is.
Hopefully they avoid the trap they've fallen into so many times where they come out of the gate sluggish and allow Winnipeg to set the pace. I just can't see this group mentally recovering from giving up the first goal once again. Score early and put the opposition on the back foot for once.

Tkachuk might be hurt. Or maybe being called out by Maurice is weighing heavily on his mind. Wheeler seems to be telling him that pay back is coming.
He had an Avery level A-hole move blocking the door to the bench... Had the potential to be called for 2 minutes had a ref been keeping an eye on him.
Ehlers rocked him and then went and stood over him and owned him. Can you imagine the feeling as a Flame Fan or the Flames bench if a shift disturber like Burrows got backed down in a similar manner.
This is Ehlers, slightly bigger than Gaudreau!!
Imagine CP or the Flame room if Gaudreau or Ryan or Brodie ran over Wheeler or Lowry and then asked if he wanted more.

I think they will win today. Probably a tight one again, 4-3 or something, with Hellebuyck standing on his head!

Haven't been super high on the Flames most of the year and this 5 game series is kind of just a snapshot of their season as a whole. I want them to show up show much, but my inner Debbie downer says, meh its probably gonna fall flat on its face.
I hope for the best, prepared for the worst.
Insert "do something" meme here.

Agreed. If those three don't step up and be the difference makers in these playoffs all three of those guys need to be moved in the offseason. Enough chances.

I’d like Czarnik to have a shot before Jankowski.
We already have toughness and hits without Rinaldo, we need freaking scoring.

Oh man where to start.
Tkachuk doesn't care what Wheeler has to say, he's already knocked him down in this series with a punch to the face.
Tkachuk's Avery move was in response to a Jet's defenseman literally trying to push him into the Jets bench. Perfect response and the two Jet players knew it and went around him and over the wall.
Ehlers hit a guy without the puck and then came over and crosschecked him when he was down to take a penalty. The Calgary bench was fine with that powerplay thank you.
Honestly don't understand your takes.

Bennett, yet again, is our most engaged and play driving forward this series. Give him more ice time, better linemates.

Oops, I totally missed Mangiapane in my post.

I dunno. I want to see Bennett get top 6 mins. He's been one of, if not, the most effective forward for the team. I'd be happy to just get him more time on the ice, with better line mates.

Exciting game tonight. I appear not to be the only one who thinks that this could be the proverbial back breaker for this core. Lose this one and many of our worst fears are seemingly confirmed.

Absolutely agree.
Tkachuk was the team's point leader this season. He can't be an offensive no-show, or just an agitator for this team.
You can see the effort, and the physicality, which is fine, but I don't think I recall #19 getting any kind of offensive time with the puck or scoring chance 5 on 5 (or the PP for thet matter). This year, he officially made it a debate about who the best forward on this team is. Now's the time for him to solidify himself as the guy, but he hasn't shown that in the first 2 games of the series.

It's pointless if he's not playing center. He is NOT a right wing, and Gaudreau/Tkachuk are the superior left wings.
The best way to get him more ice time, though, would be to get him on PP2, ahead of Lucic.

You are actually the most annoying poster on here, bar none. The amount of effort you put in to just troll this board and get away with it makes no sense. Your posts never contribute to any conversation and you just try to piss people off. Super annoying how you derail threads with bull #### constantly.

Our top payed player has 3 pts in 11 career playoff games. At some point he needs to do more then agitate the other team . As much as we get on SM and JG they are doubling MT point per game in the playoffs over their careers
