Instead of crapping on Gio and others let’s talk about who will be our hero in the third.
I say Johnny or Chucky.

Well said and dead on. If you have a guy/s skating alongside you with speed and the jets player wants to do the aggressive thing, you've got the option to pass off to counter that. Need to move ahead with support in formation.

This should be a good 3rd. Hard to believe they'll be back at it again just more than 24 hours after this one wraps up. Hopefully it's finished with a Flames win in regulation and no need for OT

It really comes down to this period.
Flames win this period, and I think they take the series without much trouble.
Jets win, and they have all the momentum. I think they take it.

That is the difference between playoff Bennett and regular season Bennett.

Playoff Ryan has looked pretty bad so far with Rieder and Rinaldo.

Flames need to make a decision on one of these players as you can have two on your top line and expect to win against the big boys.

This is really obnoxious.

Weird, yet necessary period for the Flames here. Got the game tied up going into the intermission which was probably the most important thing. But a sloppy and ugly period for a lot of individual players. Not very sharp out there.
On the bright side though, Sam Bennett with a nice rush and goal. Reminded me of his first NHL point if anyone remembers. Wrap around attempt that ricochets off something and in. Against the same exact team as well. Another sneaky good pass by Lucic for the second straight game too.
Flames just need to make some crisper passes and support the breakout better and they should be good for the rest of the series.

Sean Monahan or Lindholm for his 2nd. Also Dube is a Dark Horse.

Kicked in?
it was off a winnipeg player, it would only be disallowed only counts when you are trying to score by kicking it in.
that's more of an own goal, where it doesn't matter if a soccer player is offsides

The first and second lines could watch the Bennett goal a couple times as sometimes you don’t need to be pretty you just need to get traffic/ bodies and pucks to the net. That’s the kind of tight scoring that’s needed this time of year not the Harlem globetrotter BS. Yeah, you gotta get dirty, cross checked, etc. Monahan has done an average job of it but he really just needs to plant himself in front of the net.

Bennett intentionally put the puck in Beaulieu's skates, hoping Beaulieu would kick Hellybuyck and severe his achilles
