For what? Greenway slashed him first, from the bench.

Edit: nevermind, I got it backwards. Yeah not a great look for Ferly.

No, not exactly. Ferland speared Hartman for grabbing his stick. Greenway slashed Ferland in retaliation for the spear.

I disagree. It's a bit like Monahan willing to go to those tough areas again and again despite getting cross checked and slashed everytime.

See what I mean? The power at the arena just died.

Lol, thought my feed blacked out, but it's just a power outage. Don't think I've ever seen that before, where the whole arena went completely dark for a second.

The Canucks get their first powerplay @ the 55 minute mark. (Well, it's actually their second, but the first was completely nullified when Markstrom hilariously forgot to leave the ice for the sixth attacker on the delayed call.)

He has to be tough to absorb the amount of punishment he gets but the guy is just constantly being rag dolled out there. How long can he keep this up?

Really no sense of desperation by the Canucks in the third. 3 shots.

I really like Ferland but it was pretty lame that none of the broadcasters called that a spear.

I don't know if I have seen a player score an ENG from behind his own hashmarks before.

Alex Stalock wins his first ever NHL playoff game by pitching a shutout.

Leafs and Canucks shut out and the Oil give up 6 in a loss. All this while the Flames win 4-1. Great first couple nights of playoffs.
