This looks like a powerplay but the Oilers are actually 5-on-5.

They are genuinely that bad. How long was that in the Oilers zone? Felt like more than a solid minute?

Dont see that happening. Not with the leadership they have. They know how to win.

Matta is just a reliable defender. That Jankowski pick was terrible.

Is Doc doing his commentary remotely or something? Seems like a noticeable delay on his calls.

The rook was too unselfish...missed a chance to shoot.

Two questions...

1. If Oilers are the home team, why are they playing Chelsea Dagger after each Hawks goal?

2. I think I'm in the minority but dont we want the Oilers to win the series and not have a 12.5 percent chance at the 1st overall pick? We know they won't win the cup anyways..so they can bow out in Round 1 2 3 or SCF instead...but to be eliminated in the Play In round and have a chance....and knowing their luck...they will get 1st OA....thoughts??

No, and yes you're in the minority.

SCF?? Why would you even say such a thing.

Again that was against the 4th and 3rd lines, for the 'Hawks.

Edmonton has no idea how to play at this playoff pace. I knew Chicago would skate circles around them. Experience counts.

Yep. Win the qualifying round, get swept in the opening round...but to watch them suffer greatly in the qualifying round will bring me joy. Also, if I could win their 50/50 draw today - that would also be great.

If they pick the quality of Yakupov or manage the asset the quality of Hall for Larsen. Does it matter?

1.) All teams get their goal songs regardless of home/away.

2.) Very low odds and if 4 firsts including a generational player can’t significantly improve the team, what’s one more.

At this point it's about not wanting to see them waste more talent.
