With all the penalties being called in the qualifier games so far, I'd expect to see Jankowski in the lineup for his PK time.

How is the Jets PP/Pk this year? That might be the make or break.

It matters not how they were this year. It matters a great deal how they perform over the next few games though.
Goaltending and special teams.

I liked the look of Gus on our PP, also bumping Gio to the second PP makes it a little more lethal

Agreed - Gustafsson is a huge wildcard for us. If he can help elevate the PP, that could be the difference.

Wow I'm surprised they weren't higher with all their top line weapons.
Thanks for the info much appreciated.

Flames are going to score all the goals and stop all the pucks. Just need to take it one game at a time, and give it 110%.
All that said, I have to admit, it doesn't feel weird wearing a jersey right now. With the temp and heat it feels like I should be headed to a young stars game.

So I take it no teams get practice time right now with how much the arena is being used?

Teams practice at the 2nd rink in Rogers and out in Terwilliger.

Why on earth would you pick Kessel as a player to compare with to say someone's game doesn't translate to the playoffs?
I would be delighted with either Johnny or Monahan if they turned in a Kessel level playoff performance. 20+ points en route to a Stanley Cup win and only narrowly losing the Conn Smythe trophy to the best player in the world would be a dream post season for either of them.
Saying a player's post season level of play is Phil Kessel quality is a compliment. That guy was amazing during the Pens' last run.

Some historical facts from all past best of 5 series.(from Doc Emrick)
If you win 1st game:
82 % chance of winning series.
If you win first two games:
96 % chance of winning series.
