Trump and Kushner think it's too much testing as soon as it benefits the blue states. There was a national CDC plan for testing and containment of COVID-19. This was abandoned because Kushner and Trump want to blame Democrats for the outbreak.

Among a whole host of debacles with buying bad tests the end result was as the virus was hitting blue states the hardest the decision was made to not put together a plan and just blame the a Democratic governors. No kidding. A historically bad quarter even with money sent to people who need to immediately spend it - i.e. support the economy.

A few weeks ago I wondered why deaths were staying flat while cases were increasing. Yup, just a lag, maybe a little longer than before. Today’s numbers look like they will continue the trend. This is gonna get uglier.
