I have a hard time not agreeing with this, even tho I can admit Bennett still needs to be better.

I can’t help but be frustrated with Jankowski and Reider.

Reider has wheels so I can appreciate his presence on some occasions but Janko..

So far Rieder - Bennett - Rinaldo has looked good whereas it sounds like Janko has been bad as usual, even on the PK.

If Janko can't effectively kill penalties then we should absolutely be dressing Rieder and Rinaldo. Hell, even Robinson seems like a good 4th line energy guy with size.

Janko and a Rieder just shouldn’t be playing. They aren’t good penalty killers yet they get given PK time, making the Pk worse when they play.

Team would be better off dressing Bennett, Rinaldo, and a 7th defenceman.

Well.

I've said this so many times . Until we have forwards that backcheck our D is gonna struggle.

We can't get out of our zone and Paul Maurice is laughing his ass off right now . Forechecking Calgary is easy.
Well have the puck all the time ......easy .

Oh, and the flames take perimeter shots so Conor .....try and not fall asleep.

Johnny just got scared and gave the puck away at the offensive zone blue line.

That’s why he’s crap in the playoffs.

I've been happy with Tkachuk - Backlund - Mangiapane tonight. I think they've been the bright spot.

Koskinen gets praised for flailing in his stomach and well out of position, while Talbot makes a great save and because he creeped out a bit, noted goalie expert Cassie Campbell scolded Talbot in the intermission.

Someone needs to teach DeBrusk that using "real" instead of "really" makes him sound "real dumb".

I'd prefer to keep Mangiapane with Tkachuk and Bennett far away from Dube. Dube is developing nicely.

Thinking about this...

Lindholm, Bennett, Ryan, Dube have been the only backcheckers I've noticed regularly.

Go Flames Go! I’m concerned getting shut out by Koskinen is not a good sign for going up against Hellebuyck. Hopefully they can pop a few past Smith and get some offensive confidence.

Yeah I totally see why Ryan is third line center and not Bennett

Catching up on the shot clock, but probably not on scoring chances
