Honestly, I have hardly noticed the missing fans, and it doesn't bother me at all.
When I watch a game I am most focused on what is taking place on the ice anyways.

Best thing about this viewing situation is we don't get treated to the few idiots fans who stand up and wave to the camera everytime the puck goes into their end of the ice.
