First Grichuk and now Giles, not good for the Jays.

Haha ####. Typical game for the Jay's at Tropicana. Not feeling overly confident about the game going to extras.

Tough to blame Guerrero, it was his mistake, but his instincts as a 3rd basemen tell him to go after that ball, it will just take time for him to figure out when to go for the and when to go for the base.

It was obvious something was wrong with Giles. Keeping him in was just stupid.

This is where traditional baseball says to hit the ball to the right side especially with two strikes, but that isn't Drury's strong suit.

Buck is right, Espinal should be stealing third. Sidewinding pitcher, new catcher, right handed batter.

What a slide by Espinal! I really hope they keep him around, he does a lot things well.

Wrong guy caught the ball, going away from home.

Woohoo

Buck Martinez could really learn from Dan Shulman. Buck is often excitable in the wrong ways and repeats things over and over if he has a point, like children do. You can totally tell it throws Shulman off and leaves less room for him to call the game with professional pace.

At one point a couple innings ago Buck repeated the same thing four times in different ways and Dan professionally let it be known that he was overspeaking "You do have a point, Buck".

Take the lead and put the pressure on the Rays, IMO that should be the strategy in extras on the road

I'm curious now what the Rays are going to do. Will they play for the tie or win?

Teams need a designated extra inning speedster now. Like a shootout specialist.

Easy win there, just take Giles out as soon as he's showing discomfort. That was baffling as to why they kept him in there until they were one ball away from scoring a runner.

You know it's going to happen. But still doesn't make it sting less. Jay's had a shot for 3 W's but walk away with 1 as the Ray's death by 1000 papercuts strike again.
