Have you been watching the news AT ALL this summer?

I guess when I read what I wrote it may come across that I'm against the movement, which I'm not as a visible minority. It's been going on for 4 years though, so what I was getting at is a player on the Jays taking a knee isn't newsworthy anymore. Personally I'd like another form of protest because the knee has been going on for awhile. I'm not against it.

Sure, but there have been LOTS of new forms of protest over the last few months. This is just supplemental to indicate solidarity.

I hope everyone noticed that the mound has the "MLB" logo reversed to "BLM". Player's were wearing patches on their shoulders indicating solidarity for the movement as well. Lots of stuff going on besides kneeling.

I’m not personally a “fan” of the anthem kneel either but I have more respect for Biggio and Alford today then I did two days ago. Obviously something Alford feels strongly about and has his reasons for, good teammates, true friends support one another. This is something both players will remember for the rest of their lives.

The site I looked at had their 2016 season opener a 8-7 loss to Boston. But it looks like that was their home opener.

Thoughts on Shaw from last night? He looked very solid defending third base, and had some nice at bats. Here's hoping he can recover the form he had 2 seasons ago.

Tampa's lineup is weird. The slow Choi is leading off and the speedy Margot is batting 6th?

Our we going to get Dan Shulman all year? Does anyone know what the broadcast teams will look like for the rest of the year?

No idea. Are the broadcast teams calling remotely or at the game? Showmaker is looking damn good. Roy Halladay like pitches.

From the way they were talking last night it sounds like Tabler is only going to work broadcasts once and a while so we might.

They're doing it from the Tim & Sid set. It sounds like all MLB team's road games will be done from either their team's stadium or from another set.

Sounds very natural on the broadcast. Wouldn’t have guessed they’re not there. Pretty cool how they’re making it work.

Dan Schulman is, for my money, the absolute best baseball PBP man working today.

Ugh. Not a fan of Gaviglio in late innings in a tie game.

Like seriously Montoyo, WTF?

Poor Sam with an ugly outing. Now 4-1 Rays.
