Based on the color combination they've been test marketing I would lean heavily on the Sockeyes. Kraken was a "fan" uniform design. While it has provided interesting discussion, and a lot of smokescreen, I don't think its a good fit. But after hearing the name of the new old arena, anything is possible.

The nets, gloves, bibs, ropes. There is your color scheme which is what we have seen. I think it looks good unless it's a total swerve.

The only problem is the AHL club with the same name, but I'm sure the gazillionaire owners can compensate the AHL team.

"Kraken" would suggest a darker-coloured palette -- inky blues and greys (think H.P. Lovecraft and Cthulhu). The teaser video has a lot of salmon and seafoam hues.
The goal light in the video is not the standard red you see in the NHL. It's a bright salmon colour.
