I just did mine this weekend, but only a short section 4 posts long. I tired something different this time, as I've done concrete, paste-haste and gravel in the past. As you know, my ground is all clay. So digging was easy, and kept nice vertical sides.
I put 3-4" of gravel in the bottom, then placed the post. In my wheelbarrow I mixed about 4:1 road crush and dry cement. Just the cheapest $5/ bag stuff they had, 1/2 bag total per hole. I then added 6-12" to the hole, and dumped water in, and packed it, then more fill, and water. This allowed me to wiggle the posts a bit as I filled, and get them just right, no bracing required.
I was able to start building immediately after, and the next day they were incredibly well set. The benefits of this(from what I have read) is you get good drainage at the bottom from the gravel, and you don't have solid concrete in contact with the post. You maintain drainage so the post doesn't rot. It should also avoid the issue of the post and concrete ball moving as one. I'll see how it holds up, but so far this is my favourite method. Plus fewer bags of concrete to haul around and fix up.
If I could’ve had my say, I would’ve put gravel in the bottom, but don’t forget I’m just a stupid Woman who couldn’t possibly help build a fence eye roll

Spending two days camping where you're biking, running around and hanging out by a fire. Then having a shower in your rv right before bed. Feels the best.
After a lot of talk over the last few years with the wife I've begun a job search in Nova Scotia, trying to get a 911/dispatch job in Cape Breton. It's exciting to think about the idea of living out there full time but the likelihood of getting the job isn't super high, but still can hope

Nothing wrong with chasing your dreams.
Hope you're able to get that job.

Losing 125 lbs seems like a pretty big deal. I don't talk about it on social media, but it does feel like something I can toot my horn a little on here a bit more. Intermittent fasting has given me the toolkit that I think I can be a healthy weight soon and remain there for the rest of my life. It really helps managing hunger, which I was skeptical about when I first started... because that seems counter intuitive. But mornings I have breakfast I find I'm hungrier in general rest of the day. Weird but it seems to be the case. So, intermittent fasting, you make me happy.

Good for you.
My wife and I have settled in on IF for 18 hours and an eating window of 6 hours, 12pm to 6pm.
It fits with our Covid lifestyle nicely because we don’t go anywhere ha ha.

That is an amazing accomplishment. The dedication and discipline it took had to have been hard at times.
Be proud of what you've done!

I can't really explain why but this makes me happy. Just a young person overjoyed at landing a kick flip. Nothing to do with smart phones, Tik Tok, or anything else. Like watching a historic moment in a teenager's life development.
