While this is true I think they're pretty fed up as well. A lot of GOP members are really just conservative people and even this is too much. The WH is basically trying to wipe COVID off the map, like have it not exist anymore. No more testing, no more cases. School reopen fully, businesses reopen fully, everybody goes back to work, the $600 unemployment checks are done. The last 4 months never happened. It's ####ing fantasyland.

The federal judge assigned just days ago to the Epstien Deutch Bank case had an attempted hit that killed her son and critically wounded her son by a man dressed as a FedEx driver.
Epstien definitely didn't kill himself.

If that was a hit, what is the purpose? If a Judge is removed, another will be appointed.

It would delay the trial post-election?

I don't have time to look it up at this moment. But I believe that it would be the newly elected congress that votes, not the current one.
Now that could yield the same result. It may not. Again, I could be mistaken as I don't think it's 100% clear as to what the proper procedure is.

There's probably a special category for people who didn't even understand the first two tasks.

Former GOP presidential candidate and former Ohio governor John Kasich is expected to speak on behalf of Biden at the Democratic convention.
Center-right republicans with balls are doing something at least.

That's an interesting read, but almost out of a spy novel. Which means the possibility of happening is quite high!!!
But, a lot of moving pieces to take into consideration there. What is also not taken into consideration is the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact that is being ratified across the country, including some red states, that would award the electoral college votes to the individual who carries the popular vote. This compact includes Washington, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois, Ohio*, Pennsylvania*, South Carolina*, Virginia*, Maryland, District of Columbia, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire*. Those not yet ratified (but scheduled to be by fall) and identified by an asterisk. That means of the enacted, 196 EC votes have been accounted for. The not-yet-ratified accounts for another 64 votes. If the target is hit, the winner of the popular vote will carry 260 EC votes that cannot be changes. That accounts for 96% of the EC votes needed to elect a president. Even without the unratified states that is 73% of EC votes, meaning the swing states would be Minnesota (10), Wisconsin (10), Michigan (16), North Carolina (15), Georgia (16) and Florida (29), where only a maximum of 76 votes is needed. Ratified, only 10 votes, or one state, is needed/
This is the perfect solution to eliminate the gerrymandering that goes on. Then is really is about the ballot and making sure there is no voter suppression.

It would be the current one. Newly voted in members do not get sworn in until January, which is past the date by which Trump could use the mechanism suggested.
